For those who listen to internet radio, we have been getting a lot of airplay. In the meantime with our last release of Fallen Kingdom, 1332 records instantly contacted us. They wanted to add some Maliciousness to their new “Flesheaters” compilation. We gave them “In the Shade of Deaths Shadow”. That track is a personal favorite ours so we really wanted it to be showcased somewhere else. In other Malicious news the band has been doing tons of interviews and press for “Scorched Earth Policy”. It’s gotten great reviews for which we are extremely grateful for. That CD is still available, but in very limited quantities due to the overwhelming response, so if you haven’t gotten it yet, you better now before their gone.
We’ve also joined forces with Heavycore and Rotting Corpse Records. R.C.R. has recently released “Raw Aggression III” a Malicious thanks goes out to them for all their time and support for adding “Unrighteous Path” from our “Scorched Earth Policy” E.P. Tony here to report on the latest Malicious news. Since we've returned at the beginning of last year, after a very long vacation, we started writing and recording material for what was to be known as "Scorched Earth Policy". All of us here are really excited as we're watching our latest release spread itself around at an unbelievable pace. We've been getting KILLER responses from people all over the world. Some of this e-mail comes to us from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, United Kingdom, and right here from home. let me personally tell you as much as everybody out there enjoys our music, we enjoy it even more making it!!! We especially want to give a shout out to the people of Chicago Metal Works Radio (who were the very first to pick up on us this time around). T.J. at Black Angel Promotions (who is actually the fifth member of the band but doesn't know it, hats off to ya bro!!!). Burt at Beowolf Productions (hey Burt!! extreme thanks goes out to you for exposing us to the Pennsylvania underground scene). In other news everyone in the band has been really busy recording their parts for our new release (a full length c.d. should be ready, hopefully, by the end of the year). We’ve all been locking ourselves away at our favorite home away from home, Eclectic Larryland Studios (that’s where this report is coming to you from). So far we've got four new songs written and recorded, they just need to be mixed and mastered. There's titles floating around for the new material but I'm not at liberty to disclose that sort of info just yet. When the time comes we will post everything on the website, so make sure everybody checks back often. I'm really excited about this new stuff we've been writing. All I can say is that we just don’t let up!!! It’s still in that malicious vein; it’s just that we're hitting a different nerve!!! Well people I've got to go because like I said we're recording and everyone is giving me that look like their waiting on me for something. Man, how things change but remain the same!!!
