Before you put this CD in your stereo you'd better make sure your belts tightened up and your furniture is bolted down because this release is filled with some really brutal metal music.
This band is not for the faint hearted. Their brand of metal is filled with screaming fast guitar riffs that will knock the paint off of anything.
Layer on to that very rapid drumming that sounds like a machine gun mowing down anything that dares to get in its way.
Top it all of with ratcheted up vocals that have an ominous feel to them and you have the band's brutal metal sound.
The songs have a strong spiritual side to them. They deal with the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of it.
The band did include one slower type song on the CD entitled, "Crystal Clear" about halfway through the CD to give you a chance to catch your breath.
After that short break the songs head right back to the metal firestorm.
The one real twist on the CD is the way it ends with the old school punk track, "Blue Collar Outlaw."
I'm a fan of punk so I really enjoyed it but it did seem a little out of place when compared to the sound of the other songs found on the release.
Anyway, if you're looking for some metal music that's heavy enough to wake up the dead or an annoying neighbor then this release is for you.
Although, the new album of Malicious Damage is already recorded, we still have the urge to give these metal monsters a review on their ''Fallen Kingdom'' album as well. The band consists of pure metal devotees and that's always great to have some skulls smashing around! Malicious Damage hails from the U.S.A., and their music is mind-blowing metal with a lot of twists and turns!
The ten songs on ''Fallen Kingdom'' have cool lyrics and titles (''Eye Arrive'', ''Where Hell Exists and Death Prays'') and the musical direction of this outfit is furious, evil and greasy thrash metal! I didn't had the chance to listen to their previous EP and metal assault ''Scorched Earth Policy'', but as the band speaks, this new one is in the same style with some extra lethal riffs and breaks.
The recordings of this first full length album happened at the Eclectic Larryland Studio's, located in Ford Lauderdale, Florida and the release of this first output happened around September 2006. If you have a name like Malicious Damage, don't be surprised about the aggression and violence that flows out of this album. ''Fallen Kingdom'' represents the best of the best. Awesome tracks, ultra heavy workmanship and 10 songs that will blow your speakers! Exactly what these guys had in mind while writing and composing the material for ''Fallen Kingdom''.
From opener ''World Of Lies'', itís pretty clear that these guys are able to create a rave and intense moshpit at live gigs. If you like the opener, I suggest to skip directly to the next track, which is a real headbanger ! ''In The Shade Of Deaths Shadow'' has an outstanding riff, and this will result that you canít hold your neck still when the guys are playing at full velocity! And this is exactly how this whole album will take you by the throat for about 33 minutes. A lot of good riffs, breaks, hooks and some tracks have Slayer-esque guitar solo's! Wonderful!!!

Malicious Damage is a band that will decapitate you with their intensity without any contemplation. Their music has elements of both death and thrash metal with some hardcore elements thrown in specific parts. Here we even have some old school death metal guitar riffs that are combined with fast drumming which sounds really precise. The rhythm section is really tight and they leave plenty of space for the guitars to develope the crushing riffs that are the main identity of the band. the sound of the recording is huge and raw giving that old school feeling but at the same time keeping the power that the band unleashed here. A crushing band with an old school feeling that suits them really well.

Only a few months after the review of their previous album ''Fallen Kingdom", the band attacks again with the successor ''Sickness Amongst The Pure''. The cover artwork has a link with the album title, and gives you a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach if you think deeper on the subject. ''Sickness Amongst The Pure'' handles again about social disorder, misbehavior, inappropriate trust and political inaccuracy. Exactly the every day life, the global misunderstandings and the common attitude towards life. The band knows perfectly well what's going on and likes to append those lyrics with a heavy, tearing up and wrecking musical direction. Malicious Damage is a pleasure to undergo the every day life in a musical performance.
On their previous release I wrote that their music is "mind-blowing metal with a lot of twists and turns". Well, on this new one, it seems like the gang did continue their maim and kill riffs, filled with an aggressive foundation that beats the shit out of your body. From 'Bear This Cross' till 'Ego Death Bliss' we get 10 songs that are able to tear down the roof and leave no witnesses. They really bring sickness amongst the pure, because they want to wash over with a very aggressive musical demolition section that makes your blood boil!
Those that liked the previous release "Fallen Kingdom", and survived it, can gasp for air on this next assault. Those believers who claim to be immune to musical terror, don't bet your money, because you'll lose it!!!. Malicious Damage is so intense and breathtaking that they will grab you by the balls and give them the axe!!! The songs on "Sickness Amongst The Pure" are definitely packed with loads of adrenaline and some extra lethal attacks!!! .
I would advice that this album and band is suitable for those that are trained to survive musical assaults. If you can't dig this, there must be something wrong with you!!!! Seriously!!!
